Consumers looking for advertising sales jobs could find new opportunities now that conditions in the sector are improving.According to the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA), the most recent cut in advertising budgets was the smallest reduction since the economy began contracting. As a result, it is optimistic that advertising budgets will go up over the next few months, now that the economy appears to be picking up. This could bode well for people who are seeking advertising sales jobs in areas such as the West End of London. Andy Viner, head of media at BDO LLP, commented: "The survey results are good news for the marketing services sector. "There are a number of indicators to demonstrate that confidence is returning." He noted that the upturn has led to many companies starting to rethink their budget allocation, possibly by increasing spending on online advertising. Mr Viner added that businesses are also keen to embrace options that are flexible and cost-effective, while offering a measurable return on investment. Online marketing was this week tipped to experience significant growth over the next five years by analysts at Gartner.
