FPB welcomes rise in business confidenceBritons looking for PA or administration jobs in London may be in line to benefit from rising levels of business confidence.

The CBI this week reported improving conditions in the export market, as nearly one in three enterprises saw export orders rise during the three months to January.

According to Phil McCabe of the Forum of Private Business (FPB), this is very "positive news", as it shows confidence is increasing.

He said this is welcome because the export trade has faced numerous problems in recent months as a result of the recession.

This could in turn create opportunities for people aged 40-plus who are looking for suitable job vacancies.

"Exporting could be a way out of economic difficulties for many businesses," Mr McCabe commented.

"It's certainly something they should explore as a matter of course."

However, he added that the fallout of the recession is likely to linger for some time, which means businesses should continue to keep a close watch on their finances.
