Agencies specialising in office recruitment in London are helping to raise the bar for the whole sector by committing to industry standards.
An increasing number of blue chip companies and public sector employers are looking to push for ever-higher standards of external staffing suppliers, according to the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC).
The organisation claimed that this ongoing trend has meant that firms which specialise in office recruitment in London are keen to ensure that they are compliant with industry standards.
Consequently, more than 70 new corporate members have so far joined up with the REC in 2010 to take advantage of its advice, support and impartial legal guidance.
This is in addition to the more than 8,000 members which the organisation already has.
Key account manager at the REC Richard Charnock said: "The fact that more recruiters are committed to industry standards and gaining access to practical support services is helping to raise the bar for the industry as a whole."
