Sales recruitment specialists could be in line to benefit from an influx on new talent thanks to a partnership between the governments of the UK and Spain.
Announcing the scheme, prime minister Gordon Brown said it will help to "create a host of new employment opportunities" in both countries, a number of which may be in the south-east and the City of London.
Mr Brown and his Spanish counterpart Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero outlined the four-point plan in a press conference, revealing that it is primarily targeted at helping younger jobseekers.
The proposals include the creation of more apprenticeships, the launch of a competition for young entrepreneurs and the establishment of a youth employment taskforce which will be jointly operated by the two nations.
"It is only by working together that we can boost trade, promote exports and get our economies moving forward," Mr Brown added.
His announcement follows on from official figures which showed that the number of people out of work in the UK fell by 3,000 in the final quarter of 2009.
