A new campaign has been unveiled which may highlight the benefits of sales recruitment specialists to public sector institutions.
The programme is being run by the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) and will demonstrate how recruiters can bring added value to organisations by lobbying politicians and public sector decision makers.
"Recruitment businesses are uniquely placed to deliver the talent, skills and capability that will be needed to transform public services," the REC's chief executive Kevin Green told Recruiter.
Mr Green added that the initiative will look to promote this message, while giving recruiters the tools to work effectively with the public sector.
As part of the campaign, the REC will also release a publication on the benefits of flexible resourcing.
Earlier this month, the organisation revealed that employer confidence is on the rise in its monthly Jobs Outlook report.
It found that 94 per cent of firms plan to either maintain or expand their permanent workforce over the next 12 months.
