SME firms 'can take steps to ensure their recovery' PDF Print E-mail
SME firms 'can take steps to ensure their recovery'SME businesses in the City of London and all around the UK can take several measures towards ensuring that they come through the tail-end of the global economic downturn without suffering any further financial damage.

That is the view of Tim Campbell, founder of the Bright Ideas Trust, who has said that there are several relatively simple steps that a smaller firm can implement into their business plan in order to be successful and prosper even in such difficult financial times.

Mr Campbell, who was the first winner of the entrepreneurial BBC television programme The Apprentice, stated that factors such as understanding the e-commerce market, making sure their business concept is robust and ensuring cash flow are all crucial factors in stimulating growth.

"Particularly now that times are harder, a big thing is marketing and using all the tools that are available at your disposal to market," he commented.

The expert was speaking at the T-Mobile Small Business Roundtable Debate, which took place in London last week (August 4th) and discussed how SMEs can be supported in the near future.
