Recruiters expect accountancy jobs to rise in 2011Recruiters have predicted there will be a rise in the number of accountancy jobs in London available next year.

Research from financial services firm Poolia has revealed that 46 per cent of banking recruiters anticipate growth in the sector in 2011, which will result in the availability of more employee positions, the Recruiter reported.

Of this number, most plan to add to their teams by one or two more workers.

However, as many as a fifth expect their groups to grow by between four and ten new members of staff.

General manager in Poolia's banking and financial practice Andrew Bath said: "There is no doubt that confidence is back. We're still seeing a high volume of temps in the City and permanent recruitment remains strong."

Last month, Scott Beagrie wrote for the publication that the outlook for recruitment is a "lot less bleak" than it was a year or two ago.
