Report: Job availability increased in NovemberPeople searching for roles such as finance jobs in London may be buoyed by the findings of new research.

According to the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) and KPMG's latest Report on Jobs published today (December 8th 2010), both permanent placements and temporary appointments rose at their fastest rates for three months throughout November.

The study revealed that the demand for members of staff from employers in all sectors also expanded, in what could be seen as an indication that the country's recovery from the global economic downturn is beginning to accelerate.

Meanwhile, more candidates also emerged for roles last month, with the availability of permanent and temporary staff being at their strongest levels for eight and eleven months respectively.

Kevin Green - chief executive of the REC, which represents more than 13,500 members - commented: The jobs market remains fragile - especially in light of the public sector squeeze - but confidence does seem to be returning amongst private sector employers."
