People searching for opportunities in office-based roles such as accountancy jobs have been offered advice on how they can secure their dream position.According to Peter Panayotou - senior consultant at The Write Stuff, a specialist consultancy in the creation of CVs - interview candidates across all sectors face a lot of competition for jobs in the aftermath of the recession, therefore making sure a CV is up to scratch could be crucial. "In a situation where there's a lot of candidates and a lot of good candidates, then the smallest things could make a big difference. It can be a key thing," he remarked. Mr Panayotou was speaking following the publication of the first Changeboard Jobseeker Confidence Index last week (January 28th 2011), which stated that there is currently a lack of confidence among those people searching for human resources jobs. He added that CVs are vital as they get candidates in a position where they can compete for jobs. Posted by Daniel Frost
