People who are looking for accountancy jobs in the City of London could benefit from advice to go with their gut instinct. When in an interview situation, it is important to say what feels right, according to journalist and life coach Georgina Burnett. She explained that candidates need to prepare well before going in so that they are in a position to be able to go with what feels right to them. The expert noted that often, the answer that comes first many not always be the right one for the prospective employee, as they should be proving answers that show they will work well within the existing environment. "Quite often, questions asked in an interview are actually leading somewhere else - they have an agenda," Ms Burnett added. People looking for a new job may be pleased to hear that Andrew Goodwin, senior economic advisor to the Ernst & Young ITEM Club, recently predicted that wages would increase in 2012.
