People searching for roles such as business development jobs in the City of London in the near future may face positive conditions in which to do so, a new study has suggested.According to research published today (April 18th) by the Bank of Scotland, the employment market north of the border has improved to its best state since the onset of the global economic downturn, meaning that the sector across other areas of the UK may also be improving in the wake of the recession. The financier's Report on Jobs paper found that last month saw a rise in the number of candidates being placed in both permanent and part-time roles, while the demand for all types of staff from companies increased at its fastest rate since September 2007. Meanwhile, a growing number of firms are also now embracing the benefits of flexible working practices, development director at the Telework Association Shirley Borrett noted recently.
