Official calls on government to listen to recruiters' feedback on AWR It is crucial for the government to garner feedback from recruiting groups in order to obtain the most productive details possible on its new Agency Workers Regulations (AWR).

That is according to an official from the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills who, during a speech given at an event put on by the Association of Recruitment Consultancies, noted that this represents a vital step in making sure the effectiveness of the rules is maximised, Recruiter.co.uk reports.

Such organisations - which may help individuals find roles such as finance jobs in London - have knowledge which could aid the administration to "produce the best possible guidance for the new regulations".

The alliance announced last year (October 19th 2010) that it was planning to amend the AWR as of April 2011 through measures such as the implementation of the Agency Workers Directive, which has been designed to "ensure the appropriate protection of temporary agency workers".
