Companies with office staff in London can ensure their business continues to run smoothly in the face of any unexpected events by implementing flexible working arrangements. That is according to Alistair McKinnon, senior product manager of internet protocol at Virgin Media Business, who has advised managers that allowing meetings to be conducted virtually through remote working tools can mitigate the impact of unplanned interferences. Mr McKinnon explained that "all businesses face unexpected disruption from time to time" and noted that while it "may be impossible to predict" what or where the next such event will occur, "that doesn't mean you can't prepare for it in advance". With this in mind, he stated companies should get used to facilitating "remote collaboration tools" on a regular basis. Recently, Ashley Ward of European Leaders, expressed his belief that successful managers are not afraid to delegate important tasks to trusted employees like experienced sales staff.
