A growing number of professionals are seeking office jobs such as sales recruitment positions in the UK at present, new research has indicated.According to the latest Report on Jobs published by the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) and KPMG today (July 6th), staff looking for both permanent and temporary roles increased in volume last month. This may be indicative of the fact that more people are now confident enough to go through the job-seeking process in the aftermath of the global economic downturn. The data also showed that the demand for staff among companies dipped slightly over the same period, as did the number of new worker appointments. However, Kevin Green, chief executive of the REC, observed that he remains "optimistic" that the private sector will be able to absorb job cuts in the public arena and assured professionals that the "UK jobs market is resilient". Recently, a study by the Confederation of British Industry and KPMG showed that an increasing number of firms in London are looking to recruit more members of staff at the moment.
