Professional advice from an expert at a London recruitment agency is likely to include tips based around the need for individuals to continually develop their skill set in the wake of the recession. That is if findings from the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) are anything to go by, as its recent CEO Webinar revealed that 83 per cent of recruiters believe qualifications and training are crucial for their industry. Meanwhile, the organisation expressed its surprise that some nine per cent of bodies are failing to help their employees evolve through further guidance and instruction. Andrew Carr, head of training at the REC, observed: "Bringing our qualifications right up to date to meet all the challenges of an ever-changing recruitment industry is a major step forward." This comes after the latest Report on Jobs produced by the REC and KPMG last week (July 6th) showed that the number of people seeking office jobs in London grew in June. Posted by Daniel Frost
