Office jobs in London may be created after the capital was described as the best place in the world to do business.Iain Smith, spokesman at London Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said the leisure and cultural activities on offer in the city are among the reasons it is head and shoulders above its competitors. "If you set up a business in London, it means you are more likely to be able to access the skills that your company is going to need to thrive," he added. Mr Smith also pointed out it has "great" transport infrastructure, meaning businesspeople are able to get across London quickly. It is also an advantage there are so many companies based in the capital, as this means they are able to feed off the creativity of each other. Mr Smith's comments echo those recently made by Simon Jones, research and project manager at Officebroker.com, who said basing operations in London offers easy access to both suppliers and clients.
