London recruitment agencies may have been using virtual solutions more frequently in the day-to-day management of their company in the recent past. That is if comments made by Alex Evans, editorial director and co-chair of the National Business Awards, are anything to go by, as he believes smaller firms across all sectors in the UK are beginning to adopt such practices in the wake of the recession. Mr Evans explained the flexibility of such schemes give managers the opportunity to "launch quickly and less expensively than they have traditionally in the past", something that has become more pertinent following the economic slump. Yesterday (August 2nd), the finalists of the 2011 version of the National Business Awards were revealed and showed a marked rise in the number of smaller bodies being nominated. And this is in no small part down to the widespread adoption of virtual solutions, as Mr Evans added "savvy, more agile businesses" are definitely seeing the benefit of these practices.
