Employers 'struggling with staff wellbeing' Many employers across the UK still struggle with the task of creating a positive working environment for their admin staff and other professionals.

That is the opinion of Kevin Friery, clinical director at Right Corecare, who believes that a lot of managers find the process of achieving proper worker wellbeing tough in the aftermath of the recession.

Research published last week (November 2nd) by Cardiff and Plymouth universities showed that one million Britons have experienced workplace violence in the last two years.

Meanwhile, millions more were found to have been subjected to intimidation or humiliation in the line of duty.

And Mr Friery feels this issue is exacerbated by the fact many firms take an "incident-based view" by resolving issues as they continue to escalate rather than nipping them in the bud.

"In difficult economic times it is employers who realise the value of their staff - and work to enhance it - who will prosper," he remarked.
